One of the CTMH consultants created a lovely one page layout using four colors in a fallish color theme. I loved it! Sometimes I need a shove, so I decided to use these 3 colors to get me off of square one. Using a heart from one of our CTMH Cricut cartridges, Artistry, I sized it at 9 1/2" and cut a white cardstock heart. I then picked a sheet of each color and cut 1 heart from each color. Stacking the 3 colors and holding them tightly together, I made cuts with my paper cutter keeping the lowest point of the heart as the starting point cutting 1-1 1/2" around each side. I used our Flower Market cartridge and cut a rose at 2 1/2" using a white background and raspberry highlight. I also cut some leaves for a little added interest. I used on of my favorite stamps, What Matters Most D1728, and stamped "family" "love" in raspberry. Bitty sparkles Z1263, lots of them, and a liberal use of the clear shimmer brush over the rose and the seems along the color divides. The center of the rose has a gold glitter gem.
Here is my final product:
The upside to this project is if you are cutting 3 or 4 colors, you can put together 2 or 3 additional hearts. Very cool. One for you and others for friends or family. WooHoo!!!!
